On 9 March 1945 while carrying out a line astern chase, Kittyhawks A29-335 and A29-342 collided over Bohle River. A29-342 crashed, killing Flight Sergeant Collier. A29-335 made a forced landing (Pilot – Warrant Officer (later Wing Commander) Leon Barry Brown (432127) (O22087) Discharged: 31 January 1975)
