General Ticketing Questions

Entry into the Aviation Heritage Museum varies in price. Visit our section on pricing for full details on entry prices.

Currently tickets can only be purchased at the door of the Aviation Heritage Museum on arrival. 

However, for Museum tours these must be booked in prior to arriving for your visit. To book in for tours please call (08) 9311 4470.


We currently have gift vouchers available for purchase in a physical or electronic format. Gift vouchers can be purchased for:

  • General entry into the Museum;
  • Aircraft tours; and
  • Virtual reality experiences

Visit our online shop to purchase your gift voucher. A perfect gift for the avid aviation enthusiast in your life! 

Yes, all tours must be booked in prior to visiting the museum. This ensures that we have capacity and the required volunteer available for your tour. To book your tour please contact the Museum. 

General Museum Questions

Yes, free parking is available directly in front of our on the east side of the Aviation Heritage Museum. Underground parking is also available on the left side of the museum. 

We recommend allowing one to two hours to fully explore the Aviation Heritage Museum and immerse yourself in the experience. 

On special events and open cockpit days, please allow sufficient time as lines can develop for the cockpit and activities. 

Please note that last visitors into the museum are at 3:00pm with the museum closed at 4:00pm.

Male and female toilets are located in the South Wing.

A parenting change room is also available.

Some beverages and light snacks are available from the Aviation Heritage Museum gift shop. 

We welcome visitors to bring their own food, to enjoy in one of our designated picnic areas. 

The Aviation Heritage Museum Gift Shop is attended by volunteers and is open from 10am to 4pm every day that the Museum is open. 

The shop carries a large selection of aeroplane models, new and used aviation books, DVD’s, and toys. 

To remember your visit, purchase an item from our Aviation Heritage Museum merchandise including clothing, wine glasses, mugs and museum souvenirs. 

The Aviation Heritage Museum is fully protected from the weather. While we do have air conditioning, on particular hot days, the museum may close earlier for the safety and comfort of our visitors.

Please note we may close the museum if a severe weather warning is in place for Bull Creek to protect our precious aircraft and for the safety of our visitors. If your visit is affected by severe weather, we apologise for an inconvenience

Cameras, recording devices, and/or photography equipment are permitted for personal use.

Commercial photography is permitted based on availability. Please contact the Aviation Heritage Museum to arrange a date/ time.

The Aviation Heritage Museum is a smoke-free environment.

For the enjoyment of all visitors, smoking is prohibited anywhere in the Museum except for designated areas. 

Many of our aircraft have stands, or viewing platforms so visitors can view the aircraft on display. For the safety of visitors and the preservation of the aircraft please follow the directional signs that are displayed around the Museum. 

The Aviation Heritage Museum has particular days in which particular cockpits are open to the public. On these days visitors are welcome to sit in the selected aircraft with the help of a volunteer. 

Flight Deck Membership

Memberships are valid for 12 months. Flight Deck membership commences on the date of purchase and is valid during the period up to and including the date of expiry.

Unfortunately not. Only the person named on the card can use it. If someone wants to join up to receive their own Flight Deck membership, they can do so here.

Absolutely. If you arrive and realise you have forgotten your card, you will be asked to verify your identity at the entry desk with valid photo ID and contact details.

We endeavour to get your card out to you as soon as possible. Due to membership processes and during peak visitation periods, membership cards will be mailed to you within 10 working days.

We’ve all been there; it happens to the best of us. If you have lost your membership card please call us on (08) 9311 4470 during business hours (10am – 4pm).

Our primary communication method to the main contact on the membership is by email. We will email our regular Flight Deck enewsletter that will contain member-only specials and discounts along with special member-only invites letting you know about special ticketed events and promotions.
