Vengeance Aircraft A27-500 crashed whilst engaged on a training flight and was totally destroyed. The aeroplane was piloted by No. 420824 Flight Sergeant Roy Francis Crossley Badman, Airman Pilot and Pilot Officer Charles Alphonsus Rampant (436091) G.D. (Nav. W) as crew. Both members were killed. Funeral was conducted at KARRAKATTA War cemetery on 27.4.44.
