Brother of Flight Sergeant Hugh Burke Bolger (414193)

At 1906 hours on the night of 25 September 1944, Mosquito PF393 took off from Gransden Lodge detailed to bomb Mannheim, Germany. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take-off and it failed to return to base. The aircraft crashed at Mignault, (Hainaut) Belgium, 18 kms east north east of Mons, and both crew members were killed.
