Flying Officer Cameron was an Australian Cadet trained for the RAF.
Battle K9183 took off from Reims/Champagne at 1700 hours on 10 May 1940 to attack German troop columns in Luxembourg. The aircraft was shot down in flames while on a bombing run. Flying Officer Cameron was very badly wounded and later died.
