On 27 February 1945 Corporal Clark, a DMT (Driver Motor Transport), was transferred to Gorgas Hospital, Ancon, Canal Zone, from a troopship in Colon for treatment for tuberculosis. At 0900 hours on 3 July 1945 he was placed on the ‘danger list’ and died later that day.
