On the 29 September 1942, Aircraftman Class I Condon, a Clerk General, was admitted to No. 113 Australian General Hospital, seriously ill with a cerebral tumour. On 15 April 1943 he was removed from the seriously ill list but on 17 November 1943 he died from the illness.
