On 14 October 1941, Blenheim T1951 was detailed to carry out a simulated low dive bombing attack on troop concentrations in a defined area south east of Kent. The aircraft struck a tree while in a left turn, and it crashed out of control near Shepherdswell, Kent. All on board were killed.
