On 29 February 1941, Hurricane AG327 took off on a non-operational night training flight, and crashed at 0232 hours at Morton in the Heath, Warwickshire. The aircraft was engaged in VHF Vectors and bombing practice and it dived almost vertically into the ground at high speed killing Flight Sergeant Crouch.
