Returning from operations on 28 December 1943 Mosquito DZ749 crashed from a height of 1400 feet at Trevermy Farm, 3 miles north of Predannick, near Truro, Cornwall, at 2010 hours. The cause of the accident was the subject of exhaustive enquiry but the precise cause of the accident could not be established.
