On 6 November 1945, Aircraftman Class I Dolman, was killed in a motor car accident at Scarborough, Queensland. At approximately 2345 hours there was a collision in Landsborough Avenue, Scarborough, between a No 4 Wireless Unit Dodge weapon carrier and a RAAF Truck from No. 3 Personnel Depot driven by Aircraftman Class I Brackenridge.
