Flight Lieutenant Everatt was injured in the crash of Tiger Moth A17-182 at Grong Grong, New South Wales, on 4 January 1941 in which Pilot Officer Arthur Lloyd Bernard Smith (34110) was killed.

On 3 May 1943, a Harvard flown by Flight Lieutenant Everett on a solo practice flight, crashed at approximately 1900 hours, five miles south east of Trenton, Ontario, and he was killed.
