At 1355 hours on 5 August 1940, Blenheim L8375 took off from Khormaksar as one of six aircraft detailed to attack motor transport west of Hargeisa, Somalia. L8375 was shot down by an Italian CR32 aircraft (Sottoten Folcherio) over Hargeisa and the three crew members were killed.
