On the 3rd January 1944, Oxford LW8200 on a non-operational night training flight, crashed at 0145 hours at Normandy Farm, Hill Morton, Rugby, Warwickshire. The aircraft struck an aerial on a wireless station during the flight, and the pilot, Flight Sergeant Hollings, flying solo, was killed.
