At 0855 hours on 13 January 1941, Blenheim T1858 took off from Oulton on a reconnaissance mission. The aircraft is believed to have been shot down by fighters at 1055 hours and crashed into the sea north-west of Bergen, Netherlands, and all the crew members were killed.
