At 1635 hours on 14 October 1943, DeHavilland Dragon A34-37 crashed 7 kms north of Lime Burner Creek in a forest reserve. The aircraft was last seen flying low and then it spun into the ground during a non-operational survey flight. On board A34-37 were:
