No. 4 Service Flying Training School Operations Record Book A50 Entry dated 12 April 1941
On 12 April 1941, Corporal Thomas, a Clerk General, was struck by a motor car while walking on the right side (correct) of Marine Terrace road, with his wife and child. A car swerved on to the incorrect side of the road and struck down the whole family. Corporal Thomas and his child were killed in the accident, and his wife was injured.
