Wirraway A20-127, Flight Sergeant Aloysius John Nevill (406489) (Pilot) and Flight Sergeant George Dudley Erwin (257186) (Observer). During takeoff Aircraft struck two airmen on flare path duty during night flying, one airman being killed instantly and the other dying two days later.

The other airman fatally injured in this accident, Aircraftman Class 1 Enoch .George McDonald, (45173) died instantly.
