At 0840 hours on 3 November 1940, Hudson N7374 took off from Leuchars in formation on an offensive patrol of the Norwegian Coast. At 1110 hours the aircraft were preparing to bomb the airfield at Lister when they were attacked by six Me110 aircraft. N4374 was shot down and the four crew members were killed.
