On 28 February 1946, Leading Aircraftman Wilson, a Motor Cyclist, died of injuries received in a road accident when his motor cycle and a vehicle collided on Punt Road near Commercial Road, South Yarra. Leading Aircraftman Wilson was attached to the RAF Mission in Melbourne.
