Opening Hours & How to Get Here

The Aviation Heritage Museum is the perfect place to visit all year round.

The Museum is open every day of the week from 10.00am to 4.00pm (except Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day).

Generally, to view the whole museum and to enjoy its hidden gems, we recommend allowing 1 – 2 hours for your visit. 

NOTE:
Please note that we may have to close the museum early on really hot days during summer. The museum is located within 2 big metal hangars, which can heat up very quickly.

Please note we may close the museum if a severe weather warning is in place for Bull Creek to protect our precious aircraft and for the safety of our visitors.

If you are unsure if we are closed during severe weather, please check our Facebook and Instagram page for the latest information. If your visit is affected by severe weather, we apologise for an inconvenience.

Public Transport

You can easily catch public transport to the museum, with the bus stopping at the entry.

When travelling from Perth or Mandurah on the train, alight at the Bull Creek train and bus station.

After arriving at the station take the routes 506, 507 or 707 bus, running from Bull Creek Station to Bull Creek Drive. The bus stops directly in front of the Air Force Memorial Estate.

Alternatively, you can walk from the Bull Creek station. The Museum is only 500m south east of the station, off Leach Highway.
